About the Science & Technology Consortia

GLN facilitates and supports the cultivation of scientific and technological consortia within Africa, and of scientific and technological exchange between the continent and its global neighbors. All such ventures should advance the security and well-being of the African people and environmental sustainability. We give special emphasis to encouraging research and applications that build on Africa’s indigenous science and technology and that are informed by African cultural paradigms and interests. We encourage special attention to rural development.
